Hi, I’m Emma - mom, professional, Master Coach, Master Mentor and founder of TimeWise.

From corporate strategy to personal struggle

For over 26 years, I worked in global leadership, guiding strategy and transformation across continents.
Time, priorities, structure - these weren’t just buzzwords. They were the tools that made success possible, both for me and for the teams I led.

But it wasn’t until my own teen began to falter under the weight of disorganisation and overwhelm that those tools took on an entirely new meaning.

Suddenly, all my professional knowledge wasn’t just useful - it was deeply personal.

Katie’s story - the turning point

Our eldest daughter, Katie, 13 at the time, was bright but scattered.
Late nights catching up on work, juggling sports and activities, tiredness, disorganisation, and stress became the norm.

I could see how hard she was working - and how unsustainable it was becoming.

She didn’t need more pressure. She needed systems, structure, and perspective.

That drove me to dig deeper.

I was already a coach & mentor, but I needed an age-appropriate approach to guide her. That’s when I found Seeing My Time™.

It gave me brain-based, practical tools that worked. When I combined those with my coaching, mentoring  and corporate background, I developed the TimeWise course - and it changed everything for our family.

8 years on, Katie has recently completed her fouth year of university, and the tools she learned during TimeWise are still part of how she manages her day. She’s able to break down her workload, stay on top of her studies, and balance the demands of life with more calm and confidence.

TimeWise gave her more than structure - it gave her skills she still uses, and ownership of her time.

Hannah’s diagnosis - and mine

Around the same time, another layer unfolded. Our younger daughter, Hannah, who was 10 at the time, was diagnosed with dyslexia.

Unlike her sister, Hannah was naturally organised and generally on top of things - but she struggled with prioritisation and procrastination. She completed the TimeWise course later, at age 16, when it aligned with her needs. She’s currently in secondary school, actively using the skills she built - and thriving.

During that journey, I received confirmation of my own dyslexia - something I had long suspected.

That diagnosis brought clarity.
Looking back, I realised how often I had unknowingly chosen the harder road - not because I wasn’t capable, but because I didn’t fully understand how my brain worked.

Why I created TimeWise

These experiences reshaped me.
They deepened my empathy.
They sharpened my commitment.

And they inspired me to take everything I’d learned - professionally and personally - and build a course with the skills I knew they needed, and that I know I needed as a teen.
Now, I want to offer it to others who find themselves in the same place we once did.

What I do now

At TimeWise, I help teens/students - and the parents who want the best for them - develop the systems and life skills they need to succeed.

Let’s work together

If you're a parent watching your child struggle - and wondering how to help - know this:

You’re not alone. And you don’t have to figure it out on your own.

I’ve walked this path. I understand. And I’m here to help.

Let’s work together to give your child the skills they need - not just for school, but for life.

The Story Behind Our Logo: Kairos

At TimeWise, our logo, Kairos, is designed with intention, drawing on four key elements that represent our approach to time management and Executive Function skills. In ancient Greek, Kairos means the “right or opportune moment,” emphasising the idea that time isn’t just about quantity, but quality and presence in each moment.

Here is a look at each component and its symbolic meaning:

1. The Brow as an Anchor

The brow represents an anchor, symbolising the need to stay grounded and present. Just as an anchor holds a ship steady, grounding ourselves in the present helps us manage our time effectively and engage fully with each moment.

2. The Broken Infinity Symbol

While it may appear to resemble infinity, this broken loop reminds us that time is finite, with clear beginnings and endings. Each minute, hour, and day is distinct, underscoring the importance of making intentional use of every moment we have.

3. The Eyes as Vision and Planning

The eyes in the logo signify the importance of visualising and planning time.  Just as our vision gives us direction, planning helps us see where we’re headed, allowing us to use our time proactively.

4. The Beak as a Diamond

The beak resembles a diamond - a symbol of value. While diamonds are precious, time is our most valuable resource. It’s non-renewable, and we never truly know how much we have.

Our approach at TimeWise emphasises making every moment count, as time is life’s most irreplaceable asset. Each element of Kairos embodies the values at TimeWise, focusing on being mindful, intentional, and present in how we approach time. Our logo serves as a reminder of the preciousness of time and the importance of using it with purpose.
